A Step Towards Sustainability: Changes to our Packaging!
Did you know that in 2022 IV packaged nearly 150,000 bottles? As a part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we have adopted a new process to increase efficiency and be more environmentally aware.
Effective September 1, 2023, our products will no longer be enclosed with a plastic, heat-sealed band on each bottle cap.
In the past, adding heat-sealed bands was a great tamper evidence practice but since introducing Transpiration Control Technology (TCT) many years ago, the process has become redundant.
The heat-sealed band does not add additional protection to the solution. Our bottle caps are tightened using an ISO 17025-level calibrated torque wrench which ensures the solution will be completely sealed and leak-proof during transit. TCT adds an additional layer of protection and tamper prevention.
*Don't forget - the best past part about TCT is that our CRMs retain scientific integrity for up to five years from the date of manufacture. The product may be stored for up to four years in the TCT bag and then up to an additional year after the product has been removed from the package.*
This change will be applied to all lots manufactured after September 1, 2023. Rest assured, this change does not affect the integrity or quality of our products. As always, our products have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.
